This Burst Mode lets Cúchulainn emboldens his impurity. For a number of rounds equal to 1 + 1 round per every caster level, when Cuchulainn makes an attack with his melee attacks with a saving throw look below (DC 25), he can forego the additional damage to inflict a status condition determined by a d8 roll (1 – Silence for 1d6 rounds/Will save, 2 – Disabled for 1d4 rounds/Will save, 3 – Sleep for 1d4 rounds/Will save, 4 – Sickened for 1d4 rounds/Fort Save, 5 – Immobilized for 1d6 rounds/Fort save, 6 – Poisoned for 2d4 rounds/Fort save, 7 – Slowed for 1d6 rounds/Will save, 8 – Zombie for 2d4 rounds/Fort save). This limit break requires only a swift action to activate.
Once every 1d4 rounds as a standard action, Cúchulainn’s lower mouth opens to unleash a shadow in a 30 ft.- cone burst that deals 10d6 points of shadow damage with Reflex save (DC 25) for half damage. Those who fail the Reflex save must also make a Will save (DC 25) or receive the Sleep status effect for 1d4 rounds. Blue mages may learn this ability as a 7th level spell (Knowledge: Arcana DC 29).
Anyone within 15 ft. of Cúchulainn that is asleep, as a swift action, Cúchulainn may inflict 1d6+6 points of Shadow damage on the sleeping target.
When Cúchulainn makes a Physical touch attack, he can choose to forego the shadow damage to inflict the Poisoned status effect on his target for 1d6 rounds. A DC 26 Fortitude save negates the effect.
