This Burst Mode lets Shemhazai imbues her power into her bolts. For a number of rounds equal to 1 + 1 round for every four HD, Shemhazai can apply the Shock, Frost, or Flaming properties to her bolts, dealing 2d6 points of that element’s damage, and can make an additional attack with each crossbow. This limit break requires only a swift action to activate.
Once every 1d4+1 rounds as a standard action, Shemhazai creates 2d4 10 ft. explosions within 120 ft. away around the arena, dealing 4d10 points of fire damage to anyone caught in the explosions. A successful Reflex save (DC 27) halves the damage. Creatures hit with multiple explosions must make multiple Reflex saves.
Once every 1d4 rounds, Shemhazai uses her bolts to create a 15-ft. cloud of Disease around her. She can move through this cloud freely, and gains Concealment when attacking from a distance while in this cloud. Additionally, anyone caught within the cloud must make a successful Fortitude save (DC 27) or be given the Diseased status effect.
Shemhazai has the ability to use her dexterity to apply damage to each of her bolts. She can also apply her dexterity as an extra defense protecting herself gaining that as a deflection bonus.
This functions like Parry, except once every 1d3+1 rounds, Shemhazai can make an Acrobatics check. If successful, she hops back 15 ft. and can spend a Grit point to make a free attack with both crossbows.
This functions like the Gunner’s Grit ability. She has 9 points of Grit.
