The white mage companion is an archetype for chocobo (gray, orange, bronze, and teal) companions only.

Mage Skills

White mage companions treat Spellcraft and Knowledge (Arcana) as class skills.

Not Quite Animal

The DC to use Handle Animal on a white mage companion is 5 higher, as if it were a nonanimal with an Intelligence score of 1 or 2.

White Magery (Su)

The white mage companion receives a white magery from the white mage as a class feature. The companion may apply this ability with any spell-like abilities it casts.

This ability replaces share senses.

Choco Spell I (Sp)

At 3rd level, the white mage companion gains one of the following spell-like abilities: Choco Cure, Choco Guard, or Choco Light. It may use this ability a number of times equal to 3 + its Wisdom modifier (minimum 1). All spells use its Wisdom modifier for spell effects. If the white mage companion already has the spell-like ability, it instead increases the number of uses by 5.

This ability replaces evasion.

Choco Spell II (Sp)

At 6th level, the white mage companion gains one of the following spell-like abilities: Choco Barrier, Choco Cure, Choco Guard, or Choco Light. It may use this ability a number of times equal to 3 + its Wisdom modifier (minimum 1). All spells use its Wisdom modifier for spell effects. If the white mage companion chooses the same spell-like ability as the 3rd-level ability, it instead increases the number of uses by 5.

This ability replaces devotion.

Choco Spell III (Sp)

At 9th level, the white mage companion gains one of the following spell-like abilities: Choco Barrier, Choco Cure, Choco Esuna, Choco Guard, Choco Life, or Choco Light. It may use this ability a number of times equal to 3 + its Wisdom modifier (minimum 1). All spells use its Wisdom modifier for spell effects. If the white mage companion chooses the same spell-like ability as the 3rd- or 6th-level ability, it instead increases the number of uses by 5.

This ability replaces multiattack.

Choco Spell IV (Sp)

At 14th level, the white mage companion gains one of the following spell-like abilities: Choco Esuna, or Choco Life. It may use this ability a number of times equal to 3 + its Wisdom modifier (minimum 1). All spells use its Wisdom modifier for spell effects. If the white mage companion chooses the same spell-like ability as the 9th–level ability, it instead increases the number of uses by 5. In addition, once per day, the white mage companion may apply any metamagic feat to any of its spell-like abilities.

This ability replaces improved evasion.

Choco Spell Mastery (Sp)

At 18th level, the white mage companion gains Choco Halo as a spell-like ability. It may use this ability a number of times equal to 3 + its Wisdom modifier (minimum 1). All spells use its Wisdom modifier for spell effects. In addition, the white mage companion may choose another white magery to apply its effects on its spell-like abilities.

This ability replaces blood bond.
