The songhealer is a unique healer that draws inspiration from the goddess, Althena. The songhealer’s connection to Althena, the goddess of light and music, is a central aspect of their power. They believe that their healing powers come from the divine energy of Althena’s songs, and they often invoke her name in their prayers and chants.

The songhealer is an archetype of the bard class.

Heal Litany (Su)

At 1st level, a songhealer can sing a song of healing imbued by the goddess, Althena. At a cost of 1 MP and 1 round of bardic performance, a single ally within 30 feet heals for 1d6 + Charisma modifier + her bard level.

At 3rd level, this ability’s cost increases to 2 MP and 2 rounds of bardic performance, but also increases healing to 3d6 + her Charisma modifier + her bard level.

At 5th level, this ability’s cost increases to 3 MP and 3 rounds of bardic performance, but also increases healing to 5d6 + her Charisma modifier + her bard level.

This ability replaces inspire courage and adoring fan.

Cleanse Litany (Su)

At 3rd level, a songhealer can sing a song to cure certain status effects. At a cost of 2 MP and 2 rounds of bardic performance, a single ally within 30 feet is affected by a white mage spell of 2ndd level or lower that cures a status affect.

At 5th level, this ability’s cost increases to 3 MP and 3 rounds of bardic performance, but also increases the spell level of the white mage spell to cure a status effect to 3rd level or lower.

At 7th level, this ability’s cost increases to 4 MP and 4 rounds of bardic performance, but also increases the spell level of the white mage spell to cure a status effect to 4th level or lower.

This ability replaces inspire competence and frightening tune.

Calm Litany (Su)

At 6th level, a songhealer can sing a song of area healing imbued by the goddess, Althena. At a cost of 3 MP and 3 rounds of bardic performance, all allies within 30 feet heals for 1d6 per bard level.

At 9th level, this ability’s cost increases to 5 MP and 5 rounds of bardic performance, but also increases healing to 1d8 per bard level.

This ability replaces suggestion and soothing performance.

Miracle Litany (Su)

At 7th level, a songhealer can sing a song to revive fallen allies, imbued by the goddess, Althena. At a cost of 4 MP and 4 rounds of bardic performance, an ally within 30 feet is affected by the Raise spell.

At 11th level, this ability’s cost increases to 6 MP and 6 rounds of bardic performance, but also changes the effect to the Arise spell instead.

At 17th level, this ability’s cost increases to 9 MP and 9 rounds of bardic performance, but also changes the effect to the Full-Life spell instead.

This ability replaces dirge of doom and inspire heroics.

Saint Litany (Su)

At 9th level, a songhealer can sing a song to healing over time imbued by the goddess, Althena. At a cost of 5 MP and 5 rounds of bardic performance, all allies within 30 feet heals for her bard level for 1 round per bard level.

At 13th level, this ability’s cost increases to 7 MP and 7 rounds of bardic performance, but the songhealer also adds her Charisma modifier to the healing for the duration.

This ability replaces inspire greatness and funeral ballad.

Althena’s Litany (Su)

At 12th level, a songhealer can sing a song of greater healing, imbued by the goddess, Althena. At a cost of 6 MP and 6 rounds of bardic performance, an ally within 30 feet is healed for 10 hit points per bard level and is cured of 1 status effect.

At 17th level, this ability’s cost increases to 9 MP and 9 rounds of bardic performance, but also affects all allies within 30 feet instead.

This ability replaces soothing performance and deadly performance.
