Many police forces and riot-suppression units in Gaia use shields to protect them against the dangers of their occupations, and one of those dangers is that the riot shields issued are a total pain in the ass to haul everywhere! Thankfully, you have more training than most and have been able to minimize the strain of carrying them around.
