The lil’ enchantress is a beguiling spellcaster who either weaves the shimmering threads of illusion or performs the haunting power of bardic song to shape reality itself; she appears as a lithe figure draped in iridescent fabrics that ripple like liquid moonlight, her voice a melodic tapestry that can lull a battlefield into a trance, coax a secret from a wary merchant, or conjure phantom scenery that confounds even the most vigilant guards.

The lil’ enchantress is an archetype of the lil’ witch class.

Spells

A lil’ enchantress casts either illusion spells or performs bardic songs, which are drawn from the illusionist spell list or bard song list. On creation, the lil’ enchantress decides what spell/song list she will learn. A lil’ enchantress begins play with 1 1st level spell or song of her choice. The lil’ enchantress also selects a number of additional 1st-level spells or songs equal to her Charisma modifier to add to her list of spells. Each time a character attains a new lil’ witch level, she gains one spell or song of her choice to add to her list of spells. The free spell must be of spell/song levels she can cast. Like most mages, a lil’ enchantress can find or purchase scrolls with spells or songs to add to her repertoire.

To learn or cast a spell or song, the lil’ enchantress must have a Charisma score equal to at least 10 + the spell level (Cha 11 for 1st-level spells, Cha 12 for 2nd-level spells, and so forth). The Difficulty Class for a saving throw against a lil’ enchantress’s spell is 10 + the spell level + the lil’ enchantress’s Charisma modifier. In addition, a lil’ enchantress gains additional MP for having a high attribute (Charisma—see Table: Bonus MP per Day (by Spell Level) on the MP System page).
