Superpower (Trait)

Cost varies

The superhero has a weapon that is part of his body and that he can use in mêlée combat. This can be anything from claws to hammer fists to a set of knuckle spikes. The superhero must decide if his Natural Weapon does lethal or non-lethal damage. This choice is permanent. The superhero is granted two natural weapons, mounted on the hands/arms or feet/legs. The cost of this power depends on the damage die of his weapon. Natural Weapons crit on 20/x2, are light, count as primary natural weapons, and make the superhero “armed.”

Enhancements and limitations
  • Enhancement: Extra Weapon (Cost: varies): The superhero has one extra weapon, mounted somewhere on his body, such as coming out of a foot, an elbow, or the top of his head. The superhero can also mount an Extra Weapon onto an Appendage. The cost of an Extra Weapon is half the cost of a set of Natural Weapons, rounded up.
  • Enhancement: Improved Critical Range (Cost: 2 JP): His Natural Weapon’s crit range is 19-20. The superhero can take this enhancement twice, increasing the range to 18-20.
  • Enhancement: Improved Critical Multiplier (Cost: 2 JP): His Natural Weapon’s crit multiplier is x3. The superhero can take this enhancement as second time, increasing the multiplier to x4.
  • Enhancement: Retractable Weapon (Cost: 2 JP): The superhero can retract his Natural Weapon and completely hide it from view. This allows the superhero to pass as unarmed to the naked eye.
  • Limitation: Single Weapon (Value: varies); His character has a single natural weapon, rather than one on each hand. This can be a set of antlers, a stinger on a tail (tails sold separately, see Appendages), even just a weapon mounted on a single hand. In any case, the superhero has only one weapon. This Limitation reduces the cost of his Natural Weapon to half price, rounded up.
