DESCRIPTION

The superhero gains a climbing speed equal to his base movement and can climb and travel on vertical surfaces, or even ceilings, with ease. The superhero must have his hands free to move in this manner. The superhero travels at his full speed and he can take a double-move, but he cannot run.

The superhero does not need to make Climb checks of any kind, even when upside down. The superhero retains his Dexterity bonus to AC, and opponents get no special bonus to their attacks against him.

Enhancements and limitations
  • Enhancement: Fast Climb (Cost: 1 JP): The superhero can “run” on vertical surfaces (i.e., move x4 his base speed, in a straight line), but without the Hands Free Enhancement, the superhero actually moves on all-fours, as opposed to upright running.
  • Enhancement: Hands Free (Cost: 1 JP): The superhero can climb using only two of his limbs, either just his feet, or just his hands, or one of each. If the superhero “stands” on a wall, he can use his hands just as well as he would on level ground, which means that he can manipulate objects, perform acts of manual dexterity (i.e., use skills), and, of course, make attacks. The superhero is still subject to gravity, of course.
