DESCRIPTION
Sidekicks are there to carry out a character’s orders, almost always at the superhero’s side, and either paid by him or have for some reason pledged their loyalty to him. As this ad is very powerful and tempting to players, DMs should use discretion when allowing a superhero to take it.
Sidekicks aren’t meant to be faceless, nameless minions, disciples, or goons. The sidekick is loyal and trusted companion who put his life on the line to help the superhero or vice versa. Sidekicks are built at half of the superhero’s freelancer level, using the same archetype. If the superhero picks up the Leadership feat, the sidekick is boosted to two levels lower than him instead.
